Job Description

​

As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with carriers and customers to book loads, communicating about booked loads, and ensuring carriers have tracking, hours, required equipment, etc. You will also set appointments with shippers and receivers, provide shippers with tracking information, document detention hours, and update load information for lumpers, detention, scales, fuel, etc.

What to Expect

​

• Receive and respond to updates sent from carriers via email

• Review our internal load board for active loads and follow up with carriers

• Input all updates in the TMS

• Add notes about carriers

• Communicate with customers and carriers

• Track carriers to see their exact location and time

• Other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

​

• Associate degree or relevant experience required in transportation and logistics

• Transportation brokerage/carrier experience preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software

• Experience with customer relationship management or similar web-based software programs

• Ability to execute a vision, manage multiple priorities, and achieve results

• Results-driven personality with expertise in developing relationships

• Ability to communicate authentically and persuasively with leads, customers, and stakeholders

• Starting at $18.75 an hour
