Job Description

​

As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the entire operations side of brokering a load. You will contact carriers and owner-operators on load boards, and in our database about available freight we have to move. You will send out carrier onboarding links, check their authority status and insurance from our monitoring software, send out rate confirmations, post loads to load boards, create loads in our TMS, and other things as needed to help keep the brokerage running smoothly. You will work closely with our Operations Manager.

What to Expect

• Sending out mass emails

• Ensuring carriers are in compliance

• Review our internal load board for loads that have not been moved and seek carriers

• Create loads in our TMS

• Send Rate confirmations

• Send carrier onboarding links

• Communicate with our internal Carrier Coordinators

• Other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

​

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in transportation and logistics is required

• Transportation brokerage experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software

• Experience with customer relationship management or similar web-based software programs

• Ability to execute a vision, manage multiple priorities, and achieve results

• Results-driven personality with expertise in developing relationships

• Ability to communicate authentically and persuasively with leads, customers, and stakeholders

• Ability to multitask and get things done quickly
